Mrs. Smitha Rajagopalan, MASLP

Mrs. Smitha Rajagopalan is a Senior Audiologist with 20 years of experience in NHS and private sector. She specialises in Audiology, hearing aid dispensing and microsuction.

Sohail Choksy MDFRCS

Sohail Choksy is an experienced Consultant General and Vascular Surgeon. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, and a member of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland.

He has extensive experience in the treatment of varicose veins, including over 18 years of experience as a Consultant Surgeon. He specialises in the use of modern minimally-invasive solutions for treating varicose veins, such as radiofrequency ablation and foam sclerotherapy and has excellent reviews from his patient.

He is a full time NHS Vascular Surgeon working at East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation trust which provides vascular care to around 900,000 people in the Essex and Suffolks area. As well as treated varicose veins a large part of his work is devoted to treating patients with patients suffering with peripheral arterial disease and aortic aneurysms. He also has a passion for training junior surgeons and is Training Programme Director for the East Anglia Vascular training programme and a trust appraiser.

Mr Antonios Vitalis MD FRCS

Mr Vitalis is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon in Colchester and Ipswich University Hospitals since 2023. He graduated as a medical doctor from Aristotle University Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2007 and has served the Hellenic Navy as a medical officer until 2014. He completed his higher surgical training as a vascular surgeon in the East of England training program, having trained in busy and prestigious vascular units.

Mr Vitalis is actively involved in research and quality improvement in healthcare. He holds a Master’s degree in Endovascular Techniques from the University of Athens and an MD by research from the University of Birmingham, where he investigated the outcomes of arterial disease in disanvantaged and ethic minority populations. He has co-authored several publications and regularly presents his research at national and international congresses. He currently serves as the clinical audit lead within his vascular unit.

Mr Vitalis maintains a busy clinical practice with special interests in treating varicose veins using minimally invasive techniques, arterial occlusive disease, aortic aneurysms, and vascular access for patients in need of dialysis.
